Powder Metallurgy (P/M) is a cost-effective method of forming precision net-shape metal components. It uses powder particles of about 30mm in size (smaller than beach sand). The P/Ml process requires precise material characteristics and processing parameters, in order to control of mechanical, geometrical and physical properties of the final components. Those parameters become more critical as the part complexity increases.
